Sushi Dog DTA 3 (watercolor)

Another entry for the 2015 Sushi Dog DTA!

I wanted to do something different from digital art for what is probably going to be my final entry! So I decided to do a little watercolor project. I've been meaning to start exploring traditional art recently since digital has been the only type of art I've been doing for the most part of the past two years, so here is more! It took longer than I thought it would, but it was really fun so that's ok! ^^ I'm more proud of this idea than the art tbh because I usually never do projects like this unless it's for school. :'D

I basically sketched these guys out, colored them with watercolors (sorry for inaccuracy of some of the colors. My paints are limited atm), lined them with sharpie, and continued with the lines plus extra details with gel pens. After that I made some little stars, cut them all out, and glued them to a background I made! Kind of a mixed-media project I suppose.
